Megan

Hi future Tidy Tribe fam! My love for organizing began in 2012 when I was a nanny for a Professional Organizer in Southern California in the months before I moved to New York City for law school. Before then, I didn’t even know Pro Organizing was a “thing!” I went on to become a litigator, but my love for organizing never faded. In fact, it is my organizing skills that have helped me thrive during law school and into my career (and survive living in several tiny NYC apartments). As an attorney, I have been trained to effectively problem solve. But I’ve always had a craving for creativity that I’m constantly trying to satisfy through singing, performing and photography, to name a few. Professional organizing has become the perfect blend of strategic problem solving and innovative creativity; it allows me to analyze my client’s difficulties and needs and develop intuitive, effective and aesthetically pleasing solutions.  

THE WHY BEHIND SERENITY

I see Tidy Tribe as much more than just a Professional Organizing service. Our philosophy and mission is to help our clients seek, obtain and maintain serenity in their lives. A few years ago, when I was dealing with a loved one battling addiction, I clung on to the concept of serenity; the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can and the wisdom to know the difference. This idea of calmness and peacefulness helped me through a very challenging time. I knew when I started Tidy Tribe, that I wanted to help others find that same sense of serenity to help them live their best lives. The reality is that most things in this world are out of our control. But the way we organize our home, work and life is based on choices we make everyday that are within our control. Tidy Tribe is my way of helping give people the courage to change the things In their life that they can — and that will have lasting impacts on their happiness and well being.
